Review of 1st Shoot For Final.

These were the 3 images that I really liked out of my shoot. I thought that the wedding cake toppers was an interesting subject to shoot because it further encompasses the memories that Bob keeps in order to cope with his loneliness. I tried to be consistent with the natural lighting from his window and his lamp. I like the compositions of the last 2 shots. I think that the low angle helps emphasize the length of the empty table which contributes to the loneliness. I also like the distance away from Bob in the last shot. I feel like it adds to the size of the environment which also once again echos the notion of being alone.  I feel like I need to keep in mind of more interesting compositions with the people as well as other objects that I plan to include. I plan on scanning photos as well, and planning to shoot at least 2-3 more people this upcoming weekend.

  1. These shots are wonderful. Your are showing a real sensitivity for the environment and lighting. The scans should be interesting. Challenge yourself to find angles and make pictures that deviate a little from the pictures you made last semester. Consider more carefully the story you want to tell. Great work! I look forward to seeing more images.
